This Raw Grind is High Pressure Pasteurized (HPP). This utilizes cold water pressure to deactivate and neutralize pathogenic bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria. No heat is used to avoid nutritional loss. This process may result in a slight color change and some rolls can be malformed.
Recommended for raw feeders who feed raw meaty bones!

Note: Dogs will not survive without calcium. For a healthy source of minerals dogs need approximately 12-15% of bone in the overall diet.
When too little calcium is present, the body will leach calcium from the bones of the animal itself in order to compensate. Weakening the bones in such a manner can cause a host of issues such as hypertrophic osteodystrophy (HOD), osteochondrosis (OCD), hip dysplasia, general bone and joint weakness, pain and fragile bones that break easily.

The beef suppliers onsite USDA inspectors requires them to sprinkle Bone Charcoal on the beef as a marker when the USDA meat is sold for pet food use. The Bone Charcoal marks the beef so it cannot re-enter the human food chain.

Raw diets for cats
Cats are obligate carnivores, meaning they thrive on a strictly meat-based diet. Our blends provide the right mix of meat, bone, organ, and fat.
Cats will consume 3% of their ideal body weight. To calculate the right amount of food for your cat:
- Example: A 15-pound cat x 3% x 16 (to convert to ounces) = 7 ounces of food per day.
Cats enjoy real fish like sardines and mackerel, and you can add extra heart to their diet with our standalone heart or ground heart rolls. Keep their diet free from processed dry foods for optimal kidney health.
Transitioning to Raw
We recommend a direct switch to raw food ("cold turkey"). If preferred, you can warm the food to room temperature using hot water or a stove, but avoid microwaving as it destroys beneficial nutrients.
Mixing kibble and raw
While some people mix processed food with raw, it's not ideal. If your goal is to address allergies, skin issues, digestive problems, or overall health, it's best to stick to raw food exclusively.
Choosing the right raw food
It doesn't matter where you start, the breed, or the size of your dog. All dogs share a common ancestry with wolves, and their physiology hasn't changed. Enjoy experimenting with different blends to see your pet thrive!
How our raw food is packaged
Our raw food is always frozen and available in 2 or 5-pound rolls. You can purchase single rolls, 20-pound cases, or 30-pound cases.
Complete and balanced diet
Our food contains only pure raw ingredients: meat, bone, organs, and fat, with no fillers, preservatives, or additives. Some blends include tripe. The key to a complete and balanced diet is variety, so rotate different proteins and blends regularly.
Rotating Proteins
To ensure a complete diet, don't stick to one protein for more than a week. If your pet prefers only a couple of proteins, supplement with Phyto-synergy/Phytoplankton for additional vitamins and minerals. Aim to rotate as many proteins and blends as possible throughout the month.

We operate exclusively online to keep prices low. You can shop online and choose from three convenient options:
- Warehouse Pickup: Available in Waterford, Wisconsin, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (12 PM - 4:30 PM) and Saturday (10 AM - 2 PM).
- Delivery Truck Pickup: Check our calendar for bi-weekly stops in various locations.
- Home Delivery: Available for residents within 50-85 miles of our Waterford warehouse. Enter your zip code at checkout to confirm eligibility.

Enjoy the convenience of having raw food delivered to your door 5 days a week *weekdays only*. Available for residents within 50-85 miles of our Waterford warehouse. Enter your zip code at checkout to verify eligibility. Delivery costs:
- $14.99 up to 50 miles
- $21.99 for 50-85 miles
Place your order by noon the day before your desired delivery date. You don't need to be home for delivery; the driver will leave the insulated package on your porch.
Shipping
We ship to all lower 48 states and Alaska. Orders ship promptly based on your chosen shipping speed. For best rates, order in 40-pound increments. Minimum order for raw dog food is 20 pounds; no minimum for supplements and treats. Supplement and treat orders over $99 qualify for free shipping. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and location. Some large items are not eligible for shipping. Ensure your cart has at least 20 pounds if you encounter errors at checkout.
Returns/Refund Policy
What can I return?
Due to the perishable nature, all raw dog food and treat products are sold "as-is". You assume responsibility for your purchase.
Midwestern Raw does not guarantee any UPS SHIPPED order. Any delays in shipment, damage to the package or undeliverable package are out of Midwestern Raw's control and therefore will not be eligible for a refund/replacement.
Returns/credits are considered on a case-by-case basis and only apply to orders picked up from our local warehouse, local delivery, or local delivery truck pick up. You must notify us within 24 hours. If a return is approved, a credit will be issued in the form of a store credit/gift card.
Customers assume responsibility for the accuracy of their order at the time of pick up or local delivery. Customers have 24 hours from the time of pick up or local delivery to contact us in order to resolve issues with their order.
We will not issue credit on food that has been discarded or fed. NO EXCEPTIONS
Approved returns require the food be returned to the Midwestern Raw warehouse (585 Gravity ct. Suite 6, Waterford, WI, 53185 at the expense of the customer. If you desire the replacement order be delivered, we will charge the respective delivery fee ($14.99 for up to 50 miles. $21.99 for up to 85 miles) The original order to be returned can be given to the delivery driver during the delivery of the replacement order.
Food must be kept frozen and in the same condition it was originally received by the customer to be eligible for a store credit/gift card.
Returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. The store credit will be issued for the original amount minus the 10% restocking fee.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or for reasons not due to Midwestern Raw's error.
How do I receive my refund?
All refunds will be applied to a Midwestern Raw store credit/gift card
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a Midwestern Raw store credit/gift card will be sent to the email associated with the order.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customersupport@midwesternraw.com
How to ship my return?
We do not accept returns on any shipped items. If there is a defect/damage with the product we will ship out a replacement for the item that is damaged.
